Hi shakunbsl,
I guess you are applying to Round 2 this year?
Your GMAT score is pretty much in line with ISB's class average score, so consider this as a tick on the checklist. IIT is impressive and GPA is good - again no big brownie points here.
I'd like to understand more about your work experience. What kind of growth opportunities have you had? Two years is not a substantial time to grow in a mammoth company like L&T. Did you get chances to take the initiative and do something impactful within your team or your department? Did you get to manage people during your projects? Highlight these points in the ISB application.
Are you involved in any activities outside work? They could also give you a decent chance of showcasing your key personality characteristics.
ISB does get many applicants with your profile, and one factor that can separate you from the others is the clarity of your career goals. What do you intend to do after the MBA and how will ISB help you there? (refer essay 2 in the application). More important, where does the CFA fit in? If you have not started thinking about this already, do so now.
