Hello,
I just took my first GMAT yesterday with two weeks quick study. I sure will take another one in December because I really messed up my time management. I wasted a good 5 min with Q #1 on Q section, which made me guess last 4 questions. Fortunately, I still got 49Q, but on the other hand, I could do better. So does verbal, which I only studied very little yet managed 33, fortunately. I will aim 51Q/36V, which should break 700 barrier.
With that being said, 670 is what I have, so please help me evaluating my profile with 670 as my best score. Here is brief detail:
1) 7 YR WE as accountant; 4 Yr at luxury menswear, and 3 Yr at cosmetic industry. Both US subsidiary of very well-known European company. Especially, my current employer, cosmetic company, is Fortune Global 500 and #1 in the industry. Many of you reading this probably have already figured out

My current title is Senior accountant
2) 670 - 49Q/33V
3) BBA in Accounting, 3.4 GPA from UMass Amherst. Minor in Japanese
4) Participate in several project outside ordinary work; Intranet accounting website development committee, on-site CPE class leader, volunteering
5) Passed CPA exam, but not technically CPA yet due to 150 credit requirements (144 CR done. Two more random courses, and I am officially CPA!)
6) Stern PT, Columbia EMBA, Wharton EMBA
7) Not sure
8) I love working in corporate accounting and finance, and this is the area I want to advance. While being a CPA will help me advancing my career in this regard, I figured top tier MBA will be a huge plus and worth investment. In addition, I want to expand my knowledge to international business management as well. Being Korean and working at US sub of foreign company, I am familiar with this kind of environment and became very interested.
In my application, I will emphasize my career in international corporate environment, which is, yet, not too foreign. I am nationalized American working in US at US company, which has foreign parent company and many international affiliates. My responsibilities are related mostly to international balancing, including in-transit finished goods inventory rec with oversea factory of international affiliates.
Thanks in advance!
