-Schools: Cornell, Michigan, University of North Carolina, University of Texas, Virginia and Babson
-Also intend to apply for a dual journalism/business administration degree at UNC and UT
-Applying first round
GRE-GRE scores: 164 verbal (93rd percentile) and 161 quantitative (83rd percentile)
Undergraduate-Earned a 3.78 from a public ivy (3.92 upper-division coursework) – graduated with distinction
-Majors: journalism and political science, additional coursework in business
Professional Experience-Two years of work experience as a project assistant at a fairly prestigious DC law firm upon entering program
Goals-Hope to launch an entrepreneurial venture that supports journalism in the digital age
-I have very specific business idea and I have chosen to apply now because I feel the market will change in the next few years, journalism is already beginning to rebound a bit, and I hope to capitalize on those opportunities
As I'm sure you realize, your lack of experience could be a hurdle at the MBA programs. you may want to consider Michigan's MS in Entrepreneurship or Cornell Tech NYU's MBA program. In addition, to the schools you list, consider CMU Tepper and UCLA.
