Hi everyone,
Me again with one more quick question:
I recently applied for the Saturday option of the Columbia EMBA program and, in the application, I had to fill in a few boxies with info about any past MBA program applications that I've filed with Columbia.
Now, in Jan. 2009, I submitted an application for the Regular Decision cycle for the Columbia full-time MBA program and was not accepted.
Given that this denial:
- happened almost 5 years ago
- referred to a different MBA program (i.e. full-time vs. EMBA)
is it safe to say that the EMBA adcom will not look at my old materials or do you think that they'll scan them once again?
The reason why I'm asking is because, while I think that my EMBA application is pretty strong, I consider my 2009 application merely "meh" and, since that's the case, I'm hoping that the adcom does not look back because my old 2009 "meh" files could hurt my chances this year (not sure if that's true, but that's my reasoning).
Appreciate your input, as always!
Thanks!
