Thanks for your active participation on this forum! Just wanted to express gratitude.
I would like to solicit your advice on my profile, if I might.
I am an Indian citizen, employed in Germany. I have international experience on my side there. I work in sustainability consulting where I help optimize (or reduce) carbon emissions of global corporations, manage their energy uptake and help define sustainability strategies. I also work with the European Commission on pilot projects to help define single markets for green products, implement new policies etc.
I have an overall GMAT score of 760 with a breakdown of 50-Quant and 44-Verbal.
I have a Mechanical Engineering bachelor's degree from Manipal University, India.
Downsides of my profile: I am younger than average candidates at these schools (2.5 years of work experience, but solid experience at that with international clients, governmental exposure in the EU, and an up-and-coming field). I am applying in Round 3 which is tough but I feel primed and raring to go.
Target schools:
Yale
Kellogg
Booth
Tuck

I think that if you can put together the stellar applications that you need, go ahead and apply r3. While you’re in the “overrepresented” Indian demographic, you also have truly distinctive, significant, and impressive work experience that sets you apart. True, you’re on the younger side, but this w/e seems qualitatively comparable to that of more seasoned applicants.
Worst case, you’d reapply. But I believe that with strong apps you’d stand a reasonable chance of admission, even 3rd round.
