I just found this site and have only recently begun looking into an MBA program. I don't know that much about the process at this point. Realistically I am only shooting for top schools because of other opportunities I have. I am already in at a couple top 10 law schools, but at this point I really don't think law is for me.
A little background is that I have a 3.6 gpa from UCSD in Political Science with a minor in Econ. Plus I have taken all the required math such as 3 calc series, stats, full accounting series etc. (A's in all except calc 1a, which was a C) I don't have a GMAT score yet, but scored in the 99th% on the SAT and LSAT and am confident I can get into the 700s.
Work experience is lacking right now. I currently work in Google's online advertising department and have been a shooting star of sorts and have climbed the ladder quickly in only a year. I will have two years here under my belt by the time of matriculation and likely at least one more promotion.
If I left anything pertinent out let me know. Otherwise what do the resident gurus feel about my chances at top 10 MBA programs? Also, as an aside, is the highest GMAT score taken or are all averaged? All input is appreciated.
