Asian-Canadian Female 27 years old when applying
English Teacher in overseas in Korea, to Business English teacher in Canada (one of biggest international schools) to Project Manager of Overseas Business Development (same company)
I also volunteered as a computer teacher for a non-profit, then they contracted me for random jobs, and now they hired me as Special Projects and Programs Consultant
I also have a side business making websites and SEO consulting for local businesses. Never had formal training doing these things, but I taught myself how to code since I was 10, and have monetized websites by researching, trial and error.
GMAT 670. Aiming to retake and break 700.
University of British Columbia, Arts (Economics and Political Science), 3.0 GPA I am not sure if having two to four jobs at the same time to pay for housing and school is a good reason? For the last semester, I had a supportive boyfriend and was able to focus on school - received an A average plus a published economics thesis =D
Extracurricular: English Teacher for Orphans in Korea, Volunteer Manager for a Non-profit leading 200+ volunteers, impacting 250 participants a week
Income Tax Clinic Leader, running a team of 39, helping over 1400 low income seniors and people with disabilities
I am looking at Schulich, and NYU...although I am open to schools that specialize in non-profit sector.
Will apply for 1st round
Inspired by Dan Pallota's TED talk, I am hoping to apply knowledge in MBA to help non-profits focusing on education. As a board member, manager, and eventually executive director.

Assuming you hit that 700, you have a competitive profile for Shulich. NYU Stern would be a stretch.
