I am looking for your evaluation of my profile in order to get an idea of my chances at some of the top MS Finance programs..
Heres my profile:
BackgroundAge - 24
Ethnicity - 50% Native American (does this matter?)
Sex - Male
Work Experience- 36 months
- Industry: Internal consulting for one of the largest/prestigious banks in the world (Boston)
- Internship at BB I-bank (didn't do I-banking)
- Development: 2 promotions, hired into the companies best internal rotational program for one year, got outstanding reviews from managers
- Recommendations: Strong point of profile - VERY high-level executive I networked in with (also went to one of my target schools) and Managing Director
AcademicsDegree - B.S. - Finance and Marketing
University - Semi/non-target for most banking positions (think Syracuse/George Washington/Fordham)
GPA - 3.00 exactly (obviously my weak point of my profile, upward trending with a 3.55 in last two semesters) - Really struggled in required liberal arts classes, i have about a 3.4-3.5 business GPA
Post-Grad classes: Took three quant classes to subdue poor undergrad grades at reputable school (think Babson/Bentley/BC), and received all A's
GMAT - 710
