could the experts please evaluate my profile to let me know where I stand and what is the basic minimum I need to get into a premier MBA college- ISB, Stanford?
Graduation CGPA- 6.505/10 - Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee - Electrical B.Tech.
gmat regular mocks around 700. I am planning around 15th September.
Work Experience -
1. ~2 years - Government company - hydro power project (india's largest) - plant operations
2. >3 years - big German MNC - Embedded systems engineer - now Assistant Project Manager - Delivered 2 Products in market. Both as team lead of ~8 associates. Working on 3rd Product now. Good recognition in the Company. Interact daily with clients in Germany.
3. 6 months I was in Germany.
So total experience >5 years now (w.e.f., April 2014).
Extras:
1. IIT-R music section member - guitar player - played as part of a band in the college.
2. Organizer of Electrical department spotlight event in IIT Roorkee tech fest.
3. Filed a patent in algorithms with my current company
4. Got several sports certificates/medals - swimming, football etc. - at college level.
Things I did not do -
1. any significant volunteer work with any NGO and such.
2. I am hyper-interested in a start-up for which I have detailed plans with my team-mates. But nothing to show on paper.
Questions:
1. How good would be my profile for an executive MBA/ normal MBA in ivy league college in US or UK?
2. Also which one(executive MBA/normal MBA) is worth the bucks for my profile in future.
3. What should be my minimum GMAT score?

To answer your questions:
1) You don’t have quite enough experience for most EMBA programs, it seems – they typically want about 10 years of experience, most of it as a manager or similar level. Some EMBA programs are more open to younger managers who are approaching senior management level, and some target managers who are at the senior level or very close. You MAY be eligible for some EMBA programs that veer younger, such as Columbia. You might also consider MIT’s Sloan Fellows program -- it targets people a bit older but check to see if you fit at least in the margins of their profile.
