Hello All.
With the R1 deadlines nearing I am getting more and more confused in deciding right Bschools
I am planning to apply for MBA FullTime for Fall15 to US universities.
PFB my profile:
Indian/ Female/ (23yrs)
IT work experience in Accenture (19 months till date)
GMAT: 660(Q49, V31, IR:8, AWA:5.5)
I took GMAT2 but scored even less than the score of my 1st attempt. Even though I wish to wait for a year before applying to Bschool, I know it is not possible for me to do so.
Mumbai University Student : BE: aggregate:73%
WES calculated GPA = 3.6
Extra curriculars:
Active in CSR and other activities at the workplace.
have a credit of 120 hours of teaching students for spoken English.
Received performer award at work.
I have taken TOEFL, the score is awaited.
I am focusing on MBA in Human Capital/Organizational Behavior.
I am looking forward to apply to below schools,
1. McDonough School of Business.
2. Foster School of Business
3. Fisher School of Business
4. UNC Kenan Flagler
5. USC Marshall School of Business
6. Kelly School of Business(Don't have much hopes as I have heard this school is highly competitive for an Indian to get in.)
7. Simon School : University of Rochester.
Could you please help me in understanding the real picture, and where do i actually stand in this race?
Also, could you suggest me list of safe BSchools to apply?
I look forward to honest and helpful replies.

These are some of the following schools that have offerings in HR and organizational behavior and send out students into the industry (job offers).
Brigham Young- Mariott SoM, Smith, Madison at Wisconsin, Broad School of Management, Michigan, University of Illinois, Urbana Champagne, Georgia Tech, Purdue- Krannert
Go through these b-schools and see what they have to offer.
Your work experience and GMAT are on the lower side. You will have to submit very strong applications to up the game.

Hi,
As mentioned by Namita, GMAT and work experience might be a problem. However good applications can cover it up. There are a lot many B-Schools like Booth, HAAS, Kellogg, Purdue, USC marshall etc. So your B-School selection also looks fine. however you can analyse you chances here: https://goo.gl/RZg44t
Try and analyze how an MBA would help you progress in your career and reach your goals. While making the selection of schools, make sure that have the right mix of B-Schools.
