Hi,
I wish somebody could help me out here!
I expect a score of about 780 on the GMAT, have a GPA of 3.3 in a 'difficult' major, and am involved in a movement that is trying to improve the standard of living in India.
The catch? Well I have absolutely no work experience, but for some part-time work (i was a technical helpdesk consultant) and 2 months of internship (it was kind of like a project management position).
What are my chances of getting into one of the top schools? Read: MIT, Wharton, Kellogg.
I am totally confused because I am graduating this December, and will have about 8 months of work experience before I start on my MBA, but since my applicatoins will have to submitted before Jan, they won't have any work experience mentioned. What is the best path for me to take? Which schools are 'safe' schools for me to apply to? I would think that my GMAT scores would really boost my application package, but am also worried about my lack of experience. Is it true that schools reject even 800s?
Thanks,
Amrita
