One of my friends is a current client of yours and was raving about you and he said that considering your extensive work with Indians, you would be an appropriate person to evaluate my profile.
GMAT: 750
Education:
Delhi college of Engineering (one of the top three target engineering schools in India among IIT, BITS, DCE); 75.3% in Mechanical Engineering (passed with distinction, top 5-6% of the class).
CFA level 1 cleared
WorkEx: All in Evalueserve - Equity Derivatives (Investment Banking) - 2 years
Equity Research (Investment Banking): 6 months
Consulting (Strategy, technology - not IT): 1.5 years till matriculation
Notable workplace achievements:
Fastest promotion in my firm (2.3 years vs 3 years)
Top rating in two consecutive evaluation cycles
Built a financial model, the report on which became the flagship product of the investment banking team; cut down analysis time by 50% and added several new parameters
Automated and standardized several reports leading to savings of 100 hours monthly
ECs:
Poetry - won an intra company competition which had more than 100 entries
Soccer: Represented the college, three consecutive gold medals in intra mural competition

The schools that I am targeting are Duke, ISB, Cornell, Richard Ivey, UNC KF and Emory Goizeta. Am concerned that I have no leadership experience (no NGO's - not interested and also my role at the workplace is as a consultant in 1-1 situations). Is my profile too common? - Indian Male with decent grades, from a decent college - no standout activities.
Also is Duke far too much of a reach with my profile?
