Shalabh-

you seem to be on your way, but are hailing from a very deep applicant pool, so standing out is difficult. I will say the "average" Indian Applicant has a family business or technology background, so you need to be careful to present the things in your profile which might be viewed as unique or different from someone else with a similar background. Also, you need to make sure you position yourself as valuable to consulting firms. Switching industry or job function via b-school is common, but schools get wary if you try to do both, so make sure your path forward is clearly definied and makes sense. Not sure if it's possible, but getting international experience can help you differentiate yourself.

Thanks Bryan.
