1) I have completed 2 years with Tata Motors Limited as an Assistant Manager in the Vendor Quality function. My job basically is to maintain the quality of vendor procured parts fit in an automobile and to resolve part-quality related issues.
2) GMAT - 700
3) College info: Visveswaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (India), CGPA - 8.04/10, B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Year of graduation - 2012
4) Have participated in and won national level football tournaments, adventure races, organizing and participating in blood donation camps, play the violin, completed the outdoor leadership program in the Himalayas organized by Tata Steel Adventure Foundation
5) Important certifications - none
6) Your target programs - Broad, Krannert, Ross, Kenan Flagler, Fisher, ISB, Rotman, Schulich-India, Tepper, Kelley (I'm not able to narrow down. Also let me know if there are other good schools which I should consider which may be in Europe too)
7) R2 2014-15
8) Your post-MBA goal - Divisional head in the Operations side of an Automobile company (preferably)

Your list looks good to me. I’d consider Ross a rather high reach – but its appeal is clear given your goals, and your overall “story” works well for Ross, so I believe it works as a reach. Otherwise, the list contains an appropriate mix of reaches and on-pars. To narrow it down a bit, I suggest reviewing my online resource on how to develop a list of target programs.
