You're welcome! I think that's a logical sequence of events - 3/3.5 is a bit on the young side but if you feel it's the right time for you (and given your accelerated career path) it'll be something to communicate to the adcoms. And if the career issue is what you say, then it isn't 2016 v. 2017, it's 2016 v. 2018. Because if leaving right after getting that promotion doesn't make a lot of sense, then you'd need to spend at least a year there.
