Hi Amit,

Agree with above comments. As mentioned above, along with B-School online application (essays and other information) you need to submit your GMAT Score, TOEFL/IELTS Score, Resume and should have a minimum of 3 years of work experience. Please find below the answers to the queries you have asked:

1. Few B-Schools have early round and few have Round 4. So, for international students it is advisable to apply in either early round, R1 and R2 for visa purpose.

2. Regarding funding, you have 2 options -
a. Educational loan - For Educational loan you can also check in Schools website if they provide loan without co-signer (there are couple of B-Schools that provide loan with co-signer like Wharton, Duke, NYU Stern and Cornell etc.)
b. Scholarship - Every B-School have a different procedure for providing scholarships. Few B-Schools provide scholarship on merit basis(online application, essays and overall profile), where as few B-Schools have a separate essay question for scholarship in online application and there are few B-School like Stanford where you have to apply for scholarship before submitting a B-School online application. So, start doing the groundwork of B-Schools and keep an eye on such things.

You may also gauge your chances of getting admission to top business school by trying this amazing tool https://bit.ly/1C9o2Md
You can also get your free profile evaluation done by the top Ivy league B-School grads during the webinar conducted by General Education on 3rd of May'15. For registration and more details visit our website https://www.genedmba.com/webinars-seminars/

Hope that helps.

Cheers!

Hi there!

Early action or early deadline are available in a few schools in top 10 and top 20, and they are mainly to attract those applicants who are confident this particular school is their first choice. Often, the decision will be out before R1 results and the school will have ethical clause that you should accept if given admission (eg: Columbia, Fuqua) and pay deposit (a few thousand $).
There are certain advantages to applying early, if you can showcase strong fit for the school then your odds are better in this round due to smaller no. of applicants.
In some schools like Tuck, Fuqua, Kenan Flagler, etc. early rounds also offer opportunity to do a self-initiated interview. This is always a good thing for the applicant as you can make your case directly to the adcom.

There are many scholarships available for international students. The exhaustive list is often available on the admission website of schools. Many of them are targeted at particular ethnicity or career background such NGO/ social enterprise etc. Some schools request you to submit an additional essay to apply for scholarship along with the application while most don't require any new info. The decisions are often announced within a few weeks from the admission decision, or often along with the admit info. As an applicant, the best thing to do is to check the school website and find out what the requirements are to be eligible for scholarship.

Hope this helps! Good luck!
