Hello,
I have been looking around for some information on this topic. Although I found a lot on full time MBAs, the information regarding Executive MBAs is far more limited.
Essentially, I am thinking of applying to an EMBA in Chicago and am hesitating between Notre Dame and Kellogg. Of course, it also depends where i get accepted, but essentially here is my question:
tuition to Kellogg is about 180K$ vs 120K$ for Notre Dame. That is quite a significant difference, so I am trying to figure out if Kellogg is worth the extra investment. I am not sure what I need to look at and how I can make that decision. Yes, Kellogg is always better ranked, but is it worth that extra 60K$ compared to Notre Dame.
It's hard to find good information about EMBAs online so any advice will be greatly appreciated.

In order to best evaluate which one is the best value, you must evaluate your post MBA plan. If you are going to be making a career shift, the better name brand might be worth it, especially if the switch will incorporate new employers/recruiters. If you plan to stay with your current company, perhaps the money savings is worth it. Where you will end up working is usually something to consider as well, but since Notre Dame and Kellogg are in the midwest, it's not as much of a factor for you.
