From New Zealand
White Male
25 years old
Married
GMAT 750 (50Q, 41V)

College: I went to a small, Division I, school in the south (similar to Davidson, Furman, etc) and graduated with a Math and Finance major (3.9 / 4.0 GPA).
Played DI tennis all four years, and attended on a large scholarship.

Employment: Immediately worked in private real estate investments for 2 years, then decided that wasn't for me ad changed to cloud consulting. Current company is small (<100 people) but growing like crazy and well know in the IT consulting space. Promoted at current job and at previous job.

Volunteer Activities/Hobbies/Interests: Am a big with BBBS (Big Brother Big Sister). Member of various consulting clubs for networking.

Lived in: New Zealand, England, South Africa, Philippines, Australia, and the USA.
Passport with: New Zealand, UK, and South Africa - (US Green Card - married)

I have only ever worked in the USA (for anything substantial - I worked in a restaurant over summers in NZ).

Applying to: Harvard, Stanford, Wharton

Can you please advise on my current profile and chances at the above schools.
Also - Do you think it is advantageous to apply as a US permanent resident, or apply with my New Zealand passport as an international student? Please mention if this will severely affect acceptance chances and / or ability to attain student grants/loans/scholarships etc.

Thank you!

750! From New Zealand! And division I tennis! Preeeetty good for starters.

Your working experience seems good, although I'd love to get some more detail about your responsibilities, achievements, teamwork, and leadership if any in order too see where your employment stands in comparison with others.

I think you have a shot at H/S/W, although it's always tough. One question: is it H/S/W or bust for you? Or are there other Top schools you are looking at?

Best,
JF
