Hi, I would appreciate it if you could give me your thoughts on my profile. A few things about me:
-Asian male, 26, US citizen
-GMAT 750 (48 Q, 46 V)
-GPA: 3.5 from Ivy league (not H/Y/P), Biology major
-Work history: Spent 3.5 years working at a boutique consulting company; had 1 promotion in the past year. I manage several project teams, giving them direction on the analytics we need to perform, mentoring/providing feedback on the quality of their work, offering business perspectives to help guide our analyses, and directly interfacing with clients to determine their needs.
-Post-grad extracurriculars: Started 2 a cappella groups (was heavily involved in music during undergrad), helped coach one of them to compete on a national TV show
Looking at: Wharton, Berkeley, HBS, Columbia
I am interested in going into Project Management at one of the leading Tech companies.

Thanks for sharing your background. First off, congratulations on a killer GMAT score! Your academic profile is right where it needs to be for your target schools. Also, I like your work experience. Surely, you have more details to share, but based on what we can assess on a forum, I'd say you have a strong professional profile as well. Your involvement is unique, especially about your effort in helping one team compete on a national TV show! I will say that your experiences and achievements don't necessarily align 100%, but all that means is that you'll need to focus your efforts on tying a story around your experiences to date and use your essays to clarify your passions and your decisions thus far. I like your list of target schools, but before we get into school selection, it would help to understand which round(s) you're looking to apply. Looking forward to hearing back!

I am applying to Wharton round 1, and the rest of the schools round 2 (this is for both academic as well as personal reasons). September 29th is really coming quickly! I may consider casting a wider net if I don't get accepted to Wharton, though I'm hesitant to branch out too far because I don't want to go somewhere that isn't as aligned with my post-MBA plans.
Any further advice on application round strategies or how to tie a somewhat unaligned background together into a cohesive package?
