Hello everyone,
I am planning to apply to Concordia JMSB MBA program. I am currently working on my resume and i would like to know your opinion about format and things that I put in it.
GMAT: will take GMAT in 2 weeks. min required for JMSB is 580. I've been studying for a while and in practice tests I get in the 650s give or take 20-30.
GPA: 3.1/4. Question: Do they consider the fact that some programs are more difficult than others? With the risk of sounding harsh..it's one thing to have 3.0 GPA in Engineering and 3.0 in History of Arts or other considerably easier programs....
WE: 4.5 years as software developer/engineer
Entrepreneurial : started a company with 2 other engineers and we developed an iOS app. Sold the app. Closed the company. It wasn't a big money maker, as a matter of fact we barely broke even.
Education: Bachelor in Comp Eng @ McGill University and before that 3 year technical Computer Science program at Dawson College.
I didn't really do any volunteering or any other things that i would like to put on the resume. My experience is mostly school + work.
Here is my resume. I tried to quantify as much as I could but in general ..software improvements are not easy to quantify.. and since I know that most ppl advise us to use NUMBERS on resumes.. not sure what to do.
