Gotcha - well the internship doesn't quite count, and the Morgan Stanley layoff doesn't quite either. The leave from Marriott might. But listen - do what is right for YOU. If it makes sense - if it's the right decision for you - then we can pull a story around it. Don't worry as much about the brand name (although that's a nice plus). Does it make sense? If you didn't get into school, would you be happy where you're considering switching to? Your tenure at the real estate firm is a bit of a good thing because even if you are at Deloitte for less than a year, you have some solid experience and recommendations. I'd say if you're happy with this opportunity, do it. (And it seems tied to your goals)

Thanks that helped a lot. Would I include the new job on an MBA resume or exclude it and just talk about it in essays/interviews?
