Hi,
I am a re-applicant from India, with an undergrad from an IIT with CGPA 7.97/10 and 4 years of experience in manufacturing sector.
I am looking to learn business skills for
entrepreneurship from a top b-school.
My past GMAT score : 680; I will retake my GMAT in a week's time.
I want to know: Which are the best b-schools for me and the ones where I have good chances of getting an scholarship.
I need this info so that I can right away send the score reports to these places.
Thanks
A couple of questions for you:
1. What is the range of GMAT you are expecting? you should apply to colleges where your expected GMAT is about 20 points higher than the class average GMAT.
2. which b-schools do you want to go to, and how competitive is your profile for them?
3. what are you achievements/growth at work?
4. What is your profile outside work?
5. What are your goals?
Entrepreneurship has become a focus area for every school over the past years, so you have a lot of choice. However, b-schools want to get convinced that you have some demonstrated entrepreneurial spark in you - either something that you have already started (its ok even if you failed at it), or you have initiates new things at your day job...
Since we are lacking a lot of information right now, I'll post a few links for you to build your thought and ideas and inclinations towards specific b-schools:
