I intend to apply for the MSc Accounting and Finance programme at LSE and I would like to know what my chances are for getting accepted.
My GMAT results:
Total: 730 (96th percentile)
Quant: 45 (62nd percentile)
Verbal: 46 (99th percentile)
IR: 8 (92nd percentile)
I might be useful to know that the average GMAT score at the LSE MSc A&F was 689 for the class of 13/14 with range 560-780. The program had a 14,2% acceptance rate.
My undergrad GPA is equivalent to 4,0 (top grade in every class taken) with one year left until graduation (for those understanding the Swedish system, that's 120/120 VG). My college is Uppsala University in Sweden, a highly respectable institution in Sweden and the Nordics. Not sure how it's considered internationally, though.
I speak four languages (six if you count Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian as separate languages). I am turning 21 this year and I haven't got a lot of work experience. I was the founder and CEO of my own company for one year and the project manager of a major project at my uni's student association.
That's about it. What do you guys think? Do i have a shot considering my quant score is pretty low?
