UG CGPA (BE PUNE UNIVERSITY): 2.97/4 (WES USA provided CGPA ) Electronics and telecomm
UPPER HIGH SCHOOL CGPA :8.5/10
HIGH SCHOOL CGPA : 8.9/10
Diploma: Diploma in French from Pune University (DELF A1,A2)
Extra curricular: Volunteer with an international organization since 2009.
WORK EX: 7 years with a tech banking Product firm in various roles such as developer,analyst,implementer and senior consultant(curent role) .
Handled a team of 5 resources . I have worked at client's offices for majority of time and with big tier banks and microfinance companies handling change management and operations.I have done certifications pertaining to IT services and project management.
I quit my firm for 7 months in 2010 but they rehired me .
I aspire to get into Berkeley HAAS,MIT (MBA/GO),Texas Austin or other top notch schools where post graduation i can get into fin tech consulting.
I also have a GRE score of 323(Q168/V155) taken in the year 2012. i got an admit to MIS programme at NYU but couldn't join due to some personal reason.

Based on the information you provided, your work experience is rather typical for your applicant pool. That's not a criticism, but merely a reality of the folks that apply to MBA programs here in the US. Given that, your academic profile is a bit lagging for the schools you're targeting (you're GMAT and GRE come in close to each other when you convert). That said, I'm still looking for something that causes you to stand out of the pile. What more can you tell about the volunteer work that you did since 2009? What other achievements and accomplishments do you have? Haas and MIT are stretches for you at the moment. I would focus more so on schools in the top 15-30. McCombs is a good option along with Tepper, Goizueta, and Georgia Tech. Hope this information helps. Also, feel free to check out our free resources to get you started for your R2 preparation.
