Btech from Delhi college of Engineering ( 68 %)
Masters in engineering from Upenn ( GPA: 3.4)..also took Two wharton courses
Currently working for a top 10 pharma company in US. I am in research division and have managed few projects in past 2.5 years. I am also part of PennPAC society which is a Penn based alumni consulting group and have worked with 2 Non profit companies on branding and strategy projects
I also work with University city science center ( a business incubator based in philadelphia) as QED fellow ( voluntary) and since past 3 years I have worked on 3 projects related to building commercial strategies for biotech startups
Post MBA plan is to start my won biotech company and that's where I want to build my story while applying to B schools.
My target schools are: Wharton healthcare program, Kellogg healthcare program, Sloan, Harvard, Columbia, Duke

Hi there,
From an academic standpoint your GMAT is lagging but demonstrating you can handle a MS in Engineering at Penn with a 3.4 certainly helps your cause. Your work experience sounds like it has potential. Managing a few research projects sounds OK, but what did you accomplish there? I'm missing the "so what?" when it comes to your work experience. I think you have solid involvement activities that allow you to stand out from the crowd, so you definitely emphasize them in your essays. Your post MBA plan will need to be a bit more fleshed out (and I'm sure it is in your mind). When AdComm's read applications with folks who want to embark on their start-up right after they graduate, many questions pop up - this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but you need to make sure your ideas and logic come through to convince them of your plan and of your fit into their program. As for schools, these are all in the reach/fringe reach zone so whether to apply to all or some really depends on your risk profile. Are you OK waiting another year if you don't have success this year? If so, then I'd so go for them prioritizing Wharton and Kellogg's HC programs. Otherwise, I would consider applying to 2 out of your top 5 plus Fuqua and another program in the top 10-20 range that will still allow you to achieve your goals. Hope this helps!
