Hey guys,
I would really appreciate some help here
Gmat 720 (Q47 V42)
GPA: 6.62/10 which in Greece is like 2:1 but most Universities ask for 7/10
Work experience: I cofounded a family business with my father and in 2 years was (and still is) the fastest growing company in the sector ( stainless steel baskets manufacturing). I pretty much did everything in the company except the manufacturing part. I created the website, the leaflets, managed 3 international exhibitions in Greece. Made the pricing strategy and and the whole internal accounting department etc. I did all these in the first 2 years of the University and then gradually i stepped down a little so i can finish my degree with a decent grade.
In the meantime i got an internship in Deloitte for 2 months in the Audit department. I had excellent reviews from the partner supervising the team and a recommendation letter from her whenever i ask.
Extracurriculars:
I also lead 2 different teams in Some management simulation competitions one of which was on international level (GMC) and we managed to reach the Greek Semifinals. And one on a university level in which we finished 5th in 100 teams.
Also here in Greece there is a mandatory army enrollment for 9 months. In the first month because of my leadership studies i was assigned as acting corporal supervising 158 privates. And in the next 8 months i was an acting sergeant assigning duties to 50 privates and supervising 2 acting corporals.Which is the highest rank a non professional soldier can get.
Im interested in Getting into a top MIM programme in EU. I want to pursuit a career in Strategy consulting despite having a secure job back home because i like seeing and learning new things while also solving problems in a wide range of industries.
The main problem is that because of the new company right now my finances are tight and i probably cant afford a prestigious MIM. Is there a chance i could get away with a scholarship in any of the top programmes? I'm thinking LBS, LSE, HEC (strategic management is also a choice) ESADE, ESSEC, Bocconi, Erasmus Rotterdam.

I am not sure about scholarships and fellowships at EU schools, but from an admissions perspective, you will probably fare pretty favorably given your work experience and GMAT score. Having said that, MiM programs will be more GPA focused than career achievement focused (it's the opposite for MBA programs). Still, with a GMAT score as high as yours, it should make up for GPA.
