Hi,
I am a female Indian candidate with 3 years of work experience in advertising, as a creative in ad agency. Before that, 1 year in supply chain. The love of creative process and fascination with brands determined my move to advertising from supply chain, wherein I had worked for a year in a leading FMCG after my engineering (in a tier-1 college)
I realise I want to get more out of my career. While working as a creative is quite gratifying, I want to be a brand stakeholder, rather than a provider of creative services. My long term goal is a leadership role in marketing, preferably a B2C company.
With a GMAT score of 710, I applied to Fuqua, Ross and ISB.
The first two didn't call me for interview.
ISB, there was an interview, and then a reject.
I am rewriting GMAT in a week hoping to clinch a better score.
What should I do to improve my chances in round 2? More importantly, what's the mix of safe and ambitious schools I should go ahead with?
Tl;DR
Indian, female, 25, GMAT 710, non-traditional work ex. Screwed round 1 with Fuqua, Ross and ISB. what should be the strategy for R2 applications?
