Your ticket is going to be story. My colleagues above are correct in highlighting the red flag of this being your second MBA as well as your age and where you are in your career. The AdComms are going to want to make sure you have a clear sense of how an MBA from their program will help you reach your goals. Your research should support the likelihood of this coming to fruition. I think your target schools are rather ambitious. If you feel strongly about giving those programs a shot, I would recommend going after 1-2 max and focusing the rest of your applications in the 25-50 range. Hope this helps and best of luck!

Hello,

I am 34 years old with 10 years of experience in Banking (Trading). I already have an MBA from IIM Calcutta and now wish to give a global boost to my career. I am considering IMD, Cornell (1yr MBA), MSx at Stanford, MIT Sloan’s Fellows Program and Kellogg (1yr MBA). My GMAT score is 670 (Q51, V29, IR 7 on 8) and 680 (Q50, V29 IR 4 on 8), which GMAT score I should apply with? Do you think its worth applying to these colleges given my profile and GMAT score?

Also I have some concerns about studying anywhere in the EU, since the work permit etc have become very tricky I heard. I surely do not wish to come back to India and work after making this investment.

Thanks and regards
SM

Hello SM,
At your age you might want to consider EMBA programs or Global EMBA programs, which probably fit better with your profile and goals. You can read about them here:
