• Citizenship: Indian, 29
• GMAT Score: 700 Q50 V35 IR 7 AWA 4.5
• Undergrad: Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, B. Tech (BioScience and Bio-Engineering), GPA: 5.5/10 (2.2/4.00), 10 - 82% 10+2 - 80%. I performed pretty badly in my under grad as I explored a lot of activities which were not part of curriculum. I took freelancing and later went to establish a firm during college. It was a moderate success. I was academically terminated for a brief period for not maintaining required grades. However, when I introspect today, I will say, I was bad at prioritizing. Everytime I think about it, I try to convert it as my strength in my professional career, a key attribute to my growth in last 48 months.
• Work Exp: Started my career as business development manager in March 2012. In my last role, I was working as AVP - Product Monetization and managing a team of 20 people directly and over 600 people indirectly.
• Extra Curricular: I serve as a consultant to a skill development community college and help them in training students from underprivileged society. I devote close to 24 hours/ month.
Schools of interest (in order):
1) Tepper
2) INSEAD
3) HAAS
4) Duke Fuqua
5) Chicago Booth
Please evaluate my chances on these schools and recommend any other schools that might be more suitable.

Thanks for sharing your information. In reviewing your stats, your biggest hurdle is going to be your academic profile. Your GPA lags behind the pack for your applicant pool, and while your GMAT is in a better spot, you're below the median at all of the schools you're targeting except Tepper. Assuming you're waiting to apply in R1 later this year, have you thought about taking some additional classes to build an alternative transcript? That said, I think Tepper is a good target program for you, but to provide additional guidance, I'll need a bit more information. What do you plan to do after your MBA - both in the short and long term? Looking forward to hearing back!
