Hi Linda
Need your help.
I am a Chartered Accountant (equivalent to CPA) from India and have three years internship experience at PwC + Arthur Andersen. Post qualification I continued to work at Andersen for a year and thereafter moved to a business analyst role with Citibank. I worked there for 2 more years and I quit in May' 05 to help my father out in his portfolio management advisory practice.
Post quitting Citi, I also happened to do a short 5 week stint in Japan as independent consultant for Citigroup.
Gave my GMAT this September, scored 710. My idea is to continue specialising in Finance and long-long term goal is to get back and diversify my father's practice. I'm very keen on enrolling in a school known for its finance major and hence have app'ed at Wharton, Columbia and Chicago. I have aimed high knowing very well that I might not get through. Also I am just about 25 years old. Is my experience not enough?
Can you give your first opinion as to what my chances are at these big schools?
