Hi Evelyn,

No worries. Yes, you would need to share your personal motivation for your interest in going to hospital management, while showing what you can leverage from your background and what you can gain from you MBA towards this goal.

All the best!

Your academics and GMAT (+CFA) gives you a reasonable chance, but they are not differentiators to these top schools, as many qualified applicants would have similar stats.

Crafting your applications to show the need for an MBA, and how the specifics of the target program will match your profile and post-MBA goal would help demonstrate interest and fit with the program. You will need to research on the specific opportunities for your desired roles in SEA, and verify both the transferable skills/knowledge you can leverage and the gaps that you need to fill (and match this with the MBA programs).

Articulating your personal motivations and substantiating them with your past experiences would also help differentiate your profile. Allowing the readers to follow your thought process, and understand your personal story will go a long way in boosting your chances.

Wish you all the best!
