Hiya,
Recently I started to seriously think about doing MBA and would like to start it on a right foot. Greatly appreciate if you could share thoughts about my profile and how I can improve it.
Nationality: India
Location: Singapore ( past 5 years)
Age: 28
GPA: 3 -3.5 (not sure as my university did not grade GPA). It says "Passed with First Class"
GMAT: shooting for 720-730.
WE:
Front Office Senior Consultant in Capital Market Product company. Frequently travel to different location and meet client. Did coding previously now moved to BA role. Close to 7 years experience in Finance and IT.
Professional Certification:
Passed FRM (Financial Risk Manager) exams and earned right to use designation in 2015.
Appeared for CFA Level II exam last week. (Think I will clear it)
Volunteer Experience
Almost nothing as I travel frequently. Use to donate blood now and then.
MBA Plans: Move up the ladder with a focus on continuing within Finance Industry. MBB Consulting or move to other domain in Finance (Private Equity or M&A)
Planning on applying to:
Mainly targeting INSEAD for 2 reasons 1) Among top universities with 1 yr program given that I will be over 29 before admission 2) They have campus in SG
Haven't thought of other universities yet. Will research more on that as I dive deep into preparation.
Will be applying for 2017 Fall cycle!
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Details on work accomplishments, scale of responsibilities, and leadership/international experiences would help show your fit for INSEAD. Anecdotes on collaborative experiences can also be used to show your potential. Scoring above average on the GMAT should also help your chances.
Also, clearly present how your background and the INSEAD MBA would lead you towards your career goals.
