I took my 2nd Official GMAT today. Improved my score from 660 (in attempt 1) to 700.

Score Breakup:
Q50, V34, IR3

Although I am happy about scoring 700, I am really concerned about my IR score. I consistently scored above 5 in IR during mock CATs. but in the actual GMAT exam, the first question stumped me. I wasted too much time and guessed most answers due to lack of time. If not for lack of time, i would have scored better. My IR score in attempt 1 was 5.
Considering that I will be applying for Fall 2017 intake, I would like to know how IR is viewed by adcoms and recruiters?

Also, is it worth to retake the exam again?

PS: I am Indian, Female, and a research engineer.

Hey hey!
Well the short answer is that it is worth retaking if you feel you can do better within the scope of a reasonable amount of time and effort.

For a full analysis of the thought process behind retaking (esp. geared towards Indian applicants) have a read through this fantastic article one of our consultants wrote: https://admissionado.com/mba/the-tuesday ... n=mba_blog

Best,
