That is a challenging Q score. Your overall score is very strong however which gives you some flexibility. Where are you looking to apply?

@ebouche3 I can understand why you are inquiring about this.

It's a great score yet to get into an M7 you do need to have a decent Quant score.

However is it likely that you will get that same score in verbal, if retake? How have your mocks been going in that regard?

If this is a complete deviation from your mock results in the area of Quant but not much of a deviation in the area of verbal, then I think it would make sense to retake.

If the verbal was kind of a lucky stroke, you might end up with the same score and I don't know if that's completely worth it.

I would think about doing the MBA math program. Just go to MBA math.com, if you complete this your transcript will be sent to all the schools, and it does hold a fair degree of weight with the schools.

I wouldn't say as much as the GMAT, however if you are an Arabic female you are under represented and to be completely honest with you, your GMAT will be perfectly fine in that case, if you do MBA Math. If you're a white female , also very possible that it's just fine. If Asian or Indian, then would think about retaking for sure.
