Hello,
As I read through applicant information, I understand demography plays a role - so my profile:
I am indian
Undergrad: Engineering, India (top 10% of graduating class)
2 Masters in Engineering and in ComputerScience, both from US
7 years work exp in IT varying from functional, process mgmt and technical.
GMAT: 640 ( q45[73%], v34[72%] ) - overall 80% - as of now I dont plan to retake
Obviously the GMAT threw me out of the race for Top schools, but I was wondering what my chances will be for:
Georgetown, INSEAD, UMD, Cornell

I thought I replied to this yesterday. I must have forgotten to hit reply.
You have a competitive profile for Georgetown, Cornell is a stretch. Insead and IMD are very unlikely admits and I encourage you to drop them from your list and consider other programs. I am not sure of your goals so I can't recommend additional schools. Sorry.

Thanks Linda. I guess we got one of the schools confused in my list. I meant University of Maryland - I think you probably were suggesting IMD, the school in Europe. How do you find my profile for univ of Maryland (UMD/UMCP - Robert H Smith School of Business)?.
Also my goals are to get back to the Software/IT world but with specific focus on Technology Management/Strategy and Product management, where I can also leverage my past experience.
For Georgetown, specifically I was looking for advice on how to deal with the "Community Contribution" Question in the application. I really dont have much to say in that.
