Hi All,
I would appreciate if anyone would take a look at my profile and tell me if I should retake the GMAT or focus on applications and if I have a reasonable chance at the following schools: University of Colorado at Boulder, George Washington University, Texas Christian University, American University and University of Houston.
GMAT: 680 Q45 V38
GPA: 2.78 - This is combined since I transferred midway through sophomore year from lower tier state school (Honors Program GPA 3.09) to better state school (GPA 2.6) . I was diagnosed with Type 2 Bipolar during sophomore year and this had a lot to do with the transfer since I moved back in with my family to attend school. Also, I worked 25 to 30 hours per week to help pay increased tuition.
Degree: B.A Economics
Demographics: 29 year old White American male.
Work Experience: Financial Advisor for Fortune 100, Financial Analyst in Telecommunications, Real Estate and Health Care industries over the past several years but was recently laid off from health care position.
Extra Curricular: Alumni Board member of college fraternity.
I plan on applying for MBA Round 2 deadlines this winter and am looking at these programs for their real estate options. Also, my last GMATPrep CAT was 710 before the 680 and my timing was pretty bad this time.
Thank you.
