Hi guys,

I am a Female Candidate with a score of 630 in 3RD attempt of GMAT and a work experience of about 5yrs in IT. 4yrs in an IT MNC and 1yr in freelance consulting.
I have Volunteer experience at NGO's as well.
I had applied for PGPM in Great Lakes insititute of Managment, chennai and got the admit.

I am applying to the following colleges for Round 3-
ISB, Indai
Indiana University- Kelley school of Business
University of Georgia Terry school of Business
Rutgers Business School
University of Pittsburgh, Katz school of Business
UCI Paul Merage school of Business
Northeastern University, D'Amore- Mckim school of Business
SFU Beedie school of Business - Canada
UBC Sauder school of Business - Canada
York University, Schulich school of Business, India

Can anyone please guide me if I should go with Great Lakes PGPM or let it go and look forward to getting an admission from the above colleges.
What colleges do u think I stand a chance in?

I don't think the ROI is great with great lakes. Also, all the international schools that you have listed, will have zilsch chances of placing you in a career.

Solution is to aim for 700 GMAT score and aim for appropriate schools for international applicants.

Round 3 is a bad idea.

What are your career goals? Trying to gauge what makes sense for you given your goals. I agree with the above not sure great lakes offers much ROI for you but would need to know your career expectations first

Hi guys,
Sometimes the hardest choices are when you don't like any of them... sounds like you don't really want to go to Great Lakes or you would not be asking here! And I agree that Round 3 is not the best- but for the schools you are listing you may have a chance at some of them. But I also think that for your best scenario, maybe you should also look at some other ideas- how about trying the GRE to see if you can score better there? And then really get all your applications in order for R1 next year so that you can give yourself the best odds of success. And consider working with a consulting firm like ours starting in May. Then you can really get your story worked out and know yourself and your strengths best and be ready to do the essays in June and July so you can submit in R1 Sept and that is your best odds to the best options. Hello there!

Considering that you are Indian candidate (a huge burden on candidates now days, since the expectations are VERY HIGH!), 630 is a very low score.

We would say this - If you think you can improve the score to let's say a 690 at least, do it. If not and you just HAVE to get an MBA, go for Great Lakes.

Kelly is extremely GMAT sticky, so forget it.
