Hi,
I am applying a couple years from now (mainly to some top 10 schools), but I was just wondering about how my current job would sound to AdComs, whether positive, negative, or neutral - I know certain areas have more/less competition than others when it comes to admission.
The job is a Technology Project Management rotation program within a bank. Moving around to different divisions (both tech and non-tech) and running the projects as a PM in a management development program. Not sure on my future jobs after this one (it is 2 years). It's not IT or engineering exactly, but how does Project management sound to the AdComs?
Rest of profile:
U.S., White Male
GMAT: 780 (50Q, 47V)
GPA: 3.84 in dual program (Computer science and business admin), top 25 US School

Project management on its own won't necessary wow admissions but ultimately what is most important is the impact of your work on the organization and the interpersonal (leaderships, teamworks, etc) skills you develop while on the job. The rest of your profile will be very competitive so make sure you are identifying strong examples of the above to maximize your competitiveness.
