Hi, I got a 680 (Q47, V36, IR - 7) in GMAT, completed my bachelor's in management studies (Marketing) from Mumbai University and am pursuing CFA. I have more than 6 years of business experience in Telecom and Real Estate. I am a Proprietor, a Director and a Partner in three different firms. Your career progress sounds impressive. As an Indian applicant you should raise the GMAT score into the low 700s at least if you want a chance at top 10 U.S. business schools. IMO, a CFA will only move the needle if you have passed all 3 levels. Feel free to send me your CV for a closer look: [email protected].

Given that you come from a tough demographic (Indian), aim to get at least an 80th percentile in the quant section of the GMAT (and an overall score of 720+). You seem to have taken on strong leadership roles professionally - make sure that you do so as well in extracurricular activities! These things will help to strengthen your profile for the top 10 schools.
