Hello Everyone,
I am new in GMAT preparation race and have just started my preparation. I plan to give GMAT by Mid December. I haven't given any Mock test yet as I am brushing my quant basics. I am at very initial stage of deciding on B Schools and MBA Goals. I would love to get some guidance from experts here.
Basically I plan to apply to good universities in Canada in 2019.
My profile is as below:
I am 30 years old married Indian woman.
Work experience: 7.5 years of work experience in one of India's largest City Gas Distribution Company. (Major experience in Project Management and Project Planning). Basically my profile involves lot of analysis, coordination and management with different departments for MIS and reports.
8 months of Teaching experience as visiting lecturer in two engineering colleges. (I normally don't mention this as I do not have any official records to prove this)
Education: 76.67% in BE (Civil) from an average college, India ( I ranked first in my class)
12th: 75 %
10th: 78%
Extra Curricular: I don't have anything much here. would appreciate on any guidance on how to build my profile in 6 months of time.
I write articles occasionally for one of India's leading Beauty blogs (not sure if that counts)
I started one English Club in my office to improve the communication and presentation skills. (this is something we started after office hours)
Why MBA?
I did not had any solid plans for MBA so far. But at this stage of my carrier, I feel stagnant and need something to boost my career as the opportunities I am getting right now have very limited reach and growth.
Overall I am aware that I have pretty faded goals and direction. Please give your valuable inputs.
