Hi,
I would like my profile to be evaluated and the list of schools that I could probably look at for a 2018 admit. I am not sure as to where my profile exactly stands and would like to know if I have a chance at the top 10/20 B-schools in the US.
GMAT (October 2017) - 700 (Q 50/V 34/AWA 5/ IR 6)
Background: Indian, Male, 25 years old
Education:
Passed CFA L2 in July 2017;
UG - BTech, Computer Science, 2013 pass out, GPA - 7.1/10 (Above Average)
12th: 68.4%
10th: 92%
Work Experience
Research and Consulting [4.5 years]
Extra-curricular activities
1. Associated with an NGO for pro-bono project for past 1.5 years
2. Photography page on Instagram
3. Volunteer experience with Teach for India, WWF, CRY
4. Led clubs during annual college festivals
I am looking for MBA colleges with strong consulting placements or good Finance background to explore my CFA knowledge. I am fine with either North American and Asian colleges.
I understand that I have missed the deadlines for R1. Hence, would need to rush my applications.
For initial shortlist, I was thinking B-Schools like Ross, Cornell, Rotman, ISB, Emory, Kenan Flagler, McCombs, NTU, NUS, HKUST... I need help in refining the list. I am open with suggestions to other colleges apart from these. Would like to know which all colleges can be fall in band of ambitious, reach and safe bands.

Thanks for sharing your profile. You have a solid profile with a good GMAT and competitive work experience. Keep in mind you are coming from a competitive applicant pool so this will be working against you slightly.
I think top 20 programs is a good target for you. Of the list you provided the only program that I think feels a bit out of range for you id Ross, the rest should be in play if you are able to submit a strong application
