Hello,
TOEFL is mandatory for Haas, even when the English was the language of instruction in my under-grad. Even IELTS can be taken instead of TOEFL.
The issue is I am unable to get a test slot for either of the tests in the coming days. Even if I do get one, there are high chances that the TOEFL score will not be evaluated before the application deadline.
I did get check with Haas and they are fine with submitting apps without TOEFL / IELTS scores (Write 0 as the TOEFL/ IELTS score in the Application form, and update them when the score arrives). The only pre-requisite being one has to give the paper before the deadline.
I cant find a test date (across India) before Haas deadline. Is there any workaround to this ? Can I even give the paper after the deadlines ?

It seems like you are in contact with the school so I would go off the information they are providing, they will give you more exact information then you will find anywhere else. I would ask the specific question you just posed, ultimately it is not their responsibility if you are only taking the test now, generally applicants schedule these things well in advance of the deadline, so you probably won't get too many sympathy votes. But, I would follow up and see how flexible they are, most schools do not start evaluating applications right at the deadline so theoretically if they were fine with it you could submit after the deadline. But Haas seems pretty particular here so go off the info they are providing
