talalwallana,
Honestly, just 4 lines of your profile will not help any expert point a right decision. What will matter is how strongly you can represent your story, how central the theme of leadership & initiative you can weave in it (My experience with such entrepreneurs says there is plenty, and the schools love this kind of experience, but your essays, LORs and application answers need to be sharpened to say the right things.)

Assuming you are able to take good consulting help and/ project these well in your applications, I can see high chances, probably some financial aid as well.

Top US b-schools tend accept students in the 720 GMAT range and you are currently at a 650. So you have not provided much other information to go on, but this one data point points to you not quite being in play for the top schools. Does not mean you are not a good candidate but I would need more info to determine that but just looking at your GMAT, I would say the top schools will be tough for you, especially coming from your demographic

Hey everyone..I need help. I would appreciate if someone guides me..Bear with me. So i am 28 and an considering a career shift.Have finally decided to get an mba from canada. I just took my gmat and scored 650 which i guess is an on par score for most canadian b schools. But the problem is regarding my work experience. I established a school in a far rural area of Pakistan a couple of years and it has now grown into a modest institution. It has over 600 students and around 70 to 80 teachers work under me. Now the problem is i am having a hard time spinning this business as a "work experience" and if i do then what recommendations would be most suited to help my application.

Regards.

Starting a business from scratch and taking it up to sizeable scale is excellent work experience. Congratulations for the work you have done so far and I am sure you would have some good leadership, success, failure stories to mention. Going forward, you will need to tie in this work experience (or the acquired skills) with what you wish to do in the future and why an MBA is a crucial stepping stone to achieve that.

Your GMAT will be considered low at the top US programs and some of the Canadian programs as well, so a retake will help. If you are applying in 2018 FAll, you still have a lot of time to bring this score up.

Regarding recommenders, its hard to comment without knowing more.
