I am a final year undergraduate student, seeking admissions in Masters programmes.
I request you to please have look at my profile and then, answer my queries.

Education:
High school - CBSE, 96% (2014)
Graduation - Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi; B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering; GPA 8.726/10 (current) [2014-2018, final year]

Scholastic Achievements:
1. A scholarship holder at IIT Delhi (2015-18)
2. 2 publications in international journals
3. Multiple Merit Award holder at IIT Delhi (Top7% Awards)
4. Gold Medalist of my school batch

Efforts towards Management/Finance side:
1. NSE certifications for Financial Modules - Equity Derivatives (93% marks); Investment analysis & Portfolio management (91% marks)
2. Online Courses:
----a. Financial Markets by Prof. Robert Shiller, Yale University (graded 100%)
----b. Data analytics for lean six sigma, University of Amsterdam. (graded 100%)

Questions:
1. Based on my profile, do you think I would be able to get admitted to one of my target school/programmes? If no, then what further improvements do you suggest? If yes, would I be able to get a scholarship?

2. I have currently been offered a job at a logistics firm (Role: Business Analyst). I was selected through campus placements. Do you think that I should join the firm and then apply to these programmes, after gaining some work experience, or my current experience would suffice?

3. Can you also provide assistance regarding references and Essays? All programmes require two references, I have asked one of my professors to be my academic referee. For my second references, should I ask another of my professors or my internship supervisor/manager?

Strong Q score-- if you think more study on verbal will be productive- could be worth taking again.

If yes, would I be able to get a scholarship? I think you could get into some of these-- but not sure on scholarships-- and see my answer to question 2-- I suggest you take the job at this point.

Do you think that I should join the firm and then apply to these programmes, after gaining some work experience, or my current experience would suffice? I am a fan of you taking this position -- as the MiM programs will get you into the same door-- and if you can already do this work now-- I think after undergrad you will now benefit more from work, you can take your time on improving GMAT verbal and then in 2-3 yrs you could be a very compelling MBA candidate too-- which is a degree that will give more ROI over the course of your career.

3. Can you also provide assistance regarding references and Essays? All programmes require two references, I have asked one of my professors to be my academic referee. For my second references, should I ask another of my professors or my internship supervisor/manager? if you have meaningful interactions with your internship supervisor-- then use that person as it adds another dimension beyond your professors.
