Colleges to apply to with a 670 GMAT score

Question

Hi,

I work as an Engagement Manager with one of the leading Management Consulting firms with close to 6 years of consulting experience along with 2 years of Industry experience with a leading Indian Oil and Gas company. I have worked across USA, Europe, Asia and Middle East. My GMAT score is 670 and want to apply to colleges this year. Can you please suggest the 4-5 best colleges that i can target globally?. For India, ISB is the only option but is 670 a good enough score to target ISB?

You must definitely consider a retake in case you wish to apply to ISB. The choice of other schools will also depend on your career goals, which always need to align with the offerings of a particular school

Thanks for your question - given that you come from a tough demographic (Indian), a score of 670 on the GMAT is on the lower side. I would suggest that you retake the GMAT to score higher. You may want to consider the European schools since they tend to be more friendly towards older applicants and it sounds like you have quite a bit of global exposure.

In the US, that 670 won't play well even though it seems like you have strong work experience. Depending on your career goals the opportunities stemming from programs you could get into may be fine, but I'm sure that you have bigger aspirations. I would retake the GMAT or provide more information if you don't plan on retaking so a more informed recommendation can be provided
