Hi! I am an Indian male. I am a Chartered Accountant by qualification. I am also a CFA Charterholder. Can somebody evaluate my profile?
Some more about me:
1. I'm currently a Dealer / Portfolio Manager at one of the largest Mutual Fund Houses in India.
2. I have completed over 5 years in the Asset Management Industry. While I am currently working in Portfolio Management, my previous roles included Operations. I have worked on multiple functions in asset management. In my previous role I have singlehandedly led major projects for my company that have resulted in significant improvement in efficiency and savings both in terms of cost and time. I can justify me leadership role here.
3. Post MBA also, I wish to work in Asset Management / Finance. I am specifically looking at working in US / European / South East Asian markets.
4. I secured All-India 36th Rank in the CA-Inter exam. Also, I passed all exams in the first attempt.
5. I am a part of an official Study Group of the CA Institute. I have made contributions to its events. (Being a knowledge driven person, I do step outside the boundaries of my work and connect with fellow professionals from the industry, thereby gaining and sharing valuable experiences)
5. My GMAT Score: Overall 710 (Q-50 V-37 IR-5 AWA-5)
6. I have consistently scored above 80% in my 10th, 12th and Graduation. I completed CA while graduating
7. Hobbies - Trekking (with groups or solo), Cycling (with groups or solo), Rifle Shooting (completed a basic course). Despite being a non-engineer, I still enjoy writing codes in a programming language. I use this language to analyse data of financial markets.
8. NGOs - I have not been very active with any major NGOs. I have participated in a few activities, completed a fundraising event last year. I have currently registered as an online volunteer for United Nations Development Programme
Target Schools - London Business School, INSEAD, Columbia Business School, Yale SOM, Chicago Booth
I am passionate about Capital Markets and Investments. Can you suggest any other B Schools that I should be applying to? (I will apply to H/W/S also, but I feel that I have a better chance of acceptance in the above target schools). I will not be able to appear for GMAT again. I have kind of reached my upper limit

Hey Manticore ,
You have a great profile but the only problem is the GMAT Score.
My friend, you must know that you are an Indian Male. So, if you don't have a very good GMAT score, you are already screwed.
The schools you are targeting won't even consider you for the initial rounds.
Either work on your GMAT or expand your target list to get best results.

A few more reflections on your profile Manticore:
Hope this helps some.
- Portfolio Management is great; the fact that you seem to have worked your way up to that is even better. The Indian brand (?) may however need a bit more polishing to get your experience to gold standard level. Previous academic qualifications will be a good plus.
- It is good to note that you are active outside work. Of the lot, the CA institute thing is likely to be most useful in the applications so leverage that well.
- While you do have a good mix of schools there, the list here may help further expand the selection. What the other evaluator said is unfortunately true to quite an extent. You'd have to push really hard on your applications to make a case. Another thing you may want to explore is leveraging CFA. Some schools (e.g. Rotman) can waive off GMAT if you have that - so look for those in addition to the usual suspects.
- Since you say you've reached the upper limit, see if you want to explore GRE? Some find that easier - no firm basis for that though. Bottom line being, given the top 10 programs you are targeting, this will continue to remain a hurdle; more so given you so far, near stellar academic record.
