Sudhir,

These are all good programs for the goals you stated, though Tuck, Yale, and LBS also could be added to that list.

Good luck!

Sudhir,

Assuming you get a GMAT above 700, your chances are low at Harvard and Stanford (where most applicants' chances are low), fair at Wharton, Chicago, Tuck, MIT, LBS, and Columbia, and probably decent at NYU and Yale. It's difficult to be any more specific unless I were to get to know your profile on a more concrete level -- i.e., as a client.

In terms of weaknesses, aside from W/E, your nationality frankly won't help you stand out. If it's possible to deepen your international experience I recommend doing that. You will also need to get as much leadership experience at work as you can.

In terms of other finance schools and safety schools, consider Rochester, CMU, and Cornell -- all good schools, all strong in finance.

Good luck,

hi paul and linda

just wanted to inform u that in my earlier posts i mentioned that i am pursuing my ICWAI Final(equvi to UKs CIMA) , i cleared that exam and one more thing .

i am going 2 finland for a couple of months for transition of new business. i was selected among 2000 people in our company and the transition will involve moving out the whole work which those guys were doing there for so many years back 2 india . its generally pretty difficult 2 transist a new business as it involves learning new things and people are not interested 2 share it with you because at the end of it they wud loose their jobs, so we have convince those guys and learn work from them.

Now my question is whether this experience( both work wise international and cultural) would be any help 2 me in my profile.

and how can i make this unique exp more appealing to the adcoms

Sudhir,

Both your ICWAI certification and your Finland project will strengthen your profile, the latter especially because it shows substantial leadership--which they will want to see alot of given your age. You will need to be specific in your essays about the challenges this project posed for you and detail all the ways in which you demonstrated leadership (team leadership, initiative, consensus building, resourcefulness, etc.) to bring about the positive outcomes.

Good luck,
