Hi davitgrigoryan

So fascinating. I have studied French since the age of 12 and never knew that there was a large Armenian population in France. Congratulations on your 4.0. That’s fantastic. I will say that one challenge I have working with LLM is that law is not exactly predisposed to super spicy exciting work anecdotes. So definitely would be smart to think about how you can demonstrate leadership, team work, problem solving, innovation, it cetera. Research results, gather numbers.

I see here that you worked in the private baking field. Please send me your best recipe for butter cream frosting. Haha just kidding. I think you meant to say banking. Sinon vous etes tres polyvalent!

It will benefit you that Armenians are under-represented. So that will put a little bit less pressure on the GMAT score that you need to achieve, however I would recommend that you still make sure that you are well within the 80% range whereever you apply.

You seem pretty committed to applying only to California schools, is there a reason for that? They aren’t necessarily known for finance.

If your GMAT comes out 700+ I would encourage you to go ahead and put in an application at Stanford; I usually tell people not to apply there, BUT they like diversity and I feel you would offer it, being French and Armenian with a legal background.

They would really like your NGO experience and especially your goals. Those are attractive and like the person who commented above, it is inspiring that you want to build up the infrastructure in your home country. Very cool.

Bon courage!
