Im having a full time tech job in an IT company. Also I have started a small scale business. I have opened a fb page and have a circle of customers and the circle is growing through word of mouth
Now I'm thinking of quitting my full time IT job and focus on this business.
Will adcoms consider this business as suffice for a full time tech job ?
As this is a small scale business , upon consulting with one of our lawyer friends it is legally valid to run an online business with a official page and PayPal account . These info are sufficient while doing taxes at the end of the year .so this business need not be registered. So will adcoms consider only business that are registered ?

Hi there,
In my opinion, b-schools will watch for two things:
1. your business is legal.
2. You have achieved significant results with the business. Scaling up a business to impressive levels (which is better than your current job) using a platform like FB can require an innovative approach. B-schools like mavericks and if you can write a story that shows you as one, then you're good.
Do consider however, that you will need to fall back upon your current company supervisors to give you recommendations. They can still give you these even if you are no longer hired with them, but do make sure you leave on a great note.
