Thank you Paul.

My short term goal is to move to a business development position (related to technology, telecommunications). My long-term goal is to start my own telecom consultancy firm. The focus of the firm would be to assist wireless operators and start-ups in creating wireless business plans. Additionally, the firm would assist its clients with telecom investments, and position appropriate wireless technologies for the client’s consumer market.

Do you see an MBA a better option to achieve my above goals (short and long term) or a technology management degree, such as MIT's SDM, is a better alternative?

I would appreciate your feedback.

Spiderman,

I am not a career counselor, but to me your goals sound sufficiently broad and entrepreneurial in nature to warrant an MBA over the more technology management degree.

Good luck!
